Oct 15: Come Out and Meet Leni!

Come and meet Leni in person! As you can see on the Events page, she’s going to be at a bunch of events in the ward this Saturday.

11am: Winthrop Garden Ribbon Cutting (4628 N Winthrop Ave)
Join Uptown United for the grand opening of the Winthrop Family Garden Historical Garden. Additionally, Shiwali Varshney Tenner will be teaching everyone a whole new choreography that any body can dance — join us for this community celebration!

2pm: Lakewood Balmoral Harvest Moon Fest (5400 block of Wayne)
It's time for the Lakewood Balmoral Harvest Moon festival! There will be food trucks, a pie contest, a scavenger hunt, a live band, and more!

4pm: Meet & Greet at The Andersonville Galleria (5247 N. Clark St.)
The Andersonville Galleria will be hosting this event in their loft space. Leni invites the community of the 48th ward to come ask questions, talk about your concerns and hopes for the neighborhood, and share ideas on how we can grow to be stronger, more supportive, and more united.
